This page will remain here as a guide to the blog!On the left side menu are the links to my ongoing Series posts (ex: Fude Series, Low-Buy Series, etc.) along with “Recent Posts.” Cell phone and tablet users can click where it says Navigation to open the drop-down menu for those Series posts, as well as scroll to the bottom to see the most Recent posts.

The “Table of Contents” section will help you find a particular category you may be looking for (eyeshadows, lipsticks, perfume, subscription services, beauty articles, etc.). There is also a search bar if there’s a particular product or topic you have in mind already!

My blog officially launched August 16th, 2015. I haven’t stopped testing things out, so if I make any changes to the format you’ll find them noted right here on the main page. I hope to see you again soon, beautiful! 😉

BEHIND-THE-SCENES UPDATE: February 8, 2025

I noticed a discrepancy every so often between the way my photos looked on my phone versus my laptop. I thought it was a screen quality difference or that it was a lighting issue, but what was actually happening is the colors and quality were getting slightly warped in the app I was using to transfer photos between my two devices. This doesn’t happen with all my pictures, so I didn’t catch on earlier. For example, in the photo below, on the left shows my original upload where the edges of the blush have harsh pixelated edges. On the right, shows how it actually photographed. I do not use smoothing tools. The only “photoshop” I do to my face is removing two moles around one eye. I leave all other flaws alone. So, the color resolution issue worsens the photos to a degree that I can’t let it be.

It is going to be a massive project to search through tens of thousands of uncategorized files to find the right pictures I used, crop and resize them, and reupload them. So, at least once a week, I will replace the botched photos in my previous posts by order from newest to oldest. I have already made changes to last week’s YSL Blush Post, which had the most issues.

PREVIOUS BEHIND-THE-SCENES UPDATE: September 1, 2024

I’ve been experiencing some troubles on the back-end managing this website. I decided to make some changes, which will be implemented throughout this month. During this process, pages and posts may be moved. Backgrounds may disappear. Menus may be shuffled around. There will be some growing pains, as website management is not my expertise! Things will look different by the end of the month, but I hope to deliver the same quality of content!

OLDER-BEHIND-THE-SCENES UPDATE: December 25, 2023

I’m back in Germany and if everything goes well, this is actually permanent! I’m in the process of trying to move over officially. The more exciting news is the fact that I am engaged and plan to be married very soon! This is why I have so many posts discussing what I was able to bring and what had to stay behind, because I had a limit on how many beauty products I could bring over with me. At least a third of my makeup is still in the US, but I brought enough products with me that I will hopefully be able to continue posting content for this blog. Of course my posting schedule will be effected at some point because of all the things I have to do in my personal life like planning for the wedding, keeping up the apartment, taking a few courses in the city, etc. I’m in the biggest transitional period thus far in my life! I hope you, the reader, will continue to visit this blog as I go through this exciting life-changing time!
